Cat and Small Animal Sitting

Cat meets rabbit

Cat Sitting

Cats are solitary by nature, territorial and resistant to big changes in their environment, so having a cat sitter visit your furry friend at home ensures minimal disruption to their regular routine. While some cats are happy to go on holiday to a cattery, others become extremely stressed by the upheaval and that’s where we come in.

Whether your cat is young or old, shy or boisterous, our extensive experience ensures that they will have the exact level of care and attention they need. Cats are individuals with their own personalities, just like humans, so we take the time to get to know your cat and gain their trust.

Small Animal Sitting

Just like cats, small animals also need a calm and trusting environment in the absence of their humans. Whether you have rabbits, chickens or something more exotic, we are happy to tailor our visits to give your lilttle ones the highest level of care and attention. Generally speaking there is no one size fits all solution for small animal sitting, so we take extra care to ensure your pet gets the VIP treatment, no matter what species they are!

We recommend setting up a meeting prior to first bookings so you have a chance to meet us in person and introduce us to your pet.

Each visit will last 20-30 minutes. This will comprise a food and water check, litter sweep and quality time with your pet. If they’re shy, however, we won’t force them to play! We ensure all our visits are positive experiences for your pet, so our frist priority is to build a trusting and rewarding relationship.

While you’re away…

In addition to ensuring your pet is well looked after in your absence, we are also happy to perform basic household tasks such as opening and shutting blinds, taking out the bins and watering the plants. If you would like these extra services or have any additional requests not already covered, we are happy to consider all reasonable requests. We also offer a pet taxi service should your pet require a trip to the vet or groomer in your absence.
